About This Site
A long time ago in an internet far, far away, the year was 1998. There was really only one website out there (Jane's Guide) that was reviewing free porn sites, and zero were reviewing adult pay sites.
With an enterprising spirit, a lot of free time, some extra cash, and a love of porn, I set out to create the first site dedicated to providing the surfer with reviews of the top adult pay sites on the net. AdultSitesReviewed.com was born and was ready to take on the porn empire. It was a daunting task, but as the saying goes..."Find a job you love and you'll never work again"
In the next few months the site grew bigger but took a slight change in direction. There were a lot of people getting scammed by a group of websites ran by a shady corporation. We switched from being a review site, to more of what you would call a "Consumer Reports" site.
The site was a hit with the public and things were going strong well into the new millenium. Then, in 2003, other commitments took precedent over the site, and it was shut down. It was reincarnated again in 2005 in blog form, but it just didn't have the right feel. So in 2007 we bought a similar domain and are back up and running for good (crosses fingers).
The purpose of this site is to list only the highest quality adult sites on the web, that are ran with utmost professionalism. One question we get all the time is "How come every site listed has a rating of 8.0 or higher? Where are the lower rated sites?" The answer is quite simple, any site that got rated lower than 8.0, doesn't get listed here. We used to list some terrible sites, but we were once threatened with legal action for a scathing review and decided against doing that again.
We know the reviews are a bit lacking, but despite our poorly chosen name, we don't set out to comprehensively review these sites. The thinking is to simply provide a listing of the best of the best, where you won't get burned. Do sites try to bribe us to get listed? Not often. We do receive a small amount per click (pennies), and that covers our hosting and bandwith. This site is ran by people that love porn, and over the past decade, we've been busy!
So, choose wisely, and remember - "Life is too short to waste on bad porn!"
